chung was awarded 10 US patents while he was emplyed at Stauffer Chemical, later became Rhone Poulenc/Rhidia Inc,from 1976-2001.Patent #6080441 describes production of slow-reacting monocalcium phosphate free from any additives such as alumnium, magnesium, lead etc, which might be cinsidered harmful for human consumption. Patent #6080441 is now in production under product name "CAL-RISE" available commercially.It is one of the basic components of baking powder. Chung was Scientist Fellow and Technical Director, Leavening Technology while he was employed at Rhone Poulenc.
