ABSTRACT:
Paper machine for producing paper that can be gravure printed from a fibrous stock suspension, and a related method. The paper machine includes a pressing section having at least one press nip, an impingement dryer arranged immediately after the pressing section, and an applicator. The applicator applies a coating color in the manner of at least one of a curtain application, a film application, or a spraying application.
