ABSTRACT:
A system and method using a framing assembly to provide support for a micro-actuator and allow the micro-actuator to be connected to a suspension assembly is disclosed. In one embodiment, the framing assembly consists of a base with two arms attached. In a further embodiment a crosspiece connects the two arms. In a further embodiment, the framing assembly is metal and have strips of piezoelectric material attached to the arms.
