ABSTRACT:
An optical information recording medium is disclosed.
The medium is comprised of a plastic substrate made of acrylic resin, an undercoating comprised at least one of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and polyvinyl formal on the substrate, and a heat mode recording layer comprised of metal on the undercoating. The recording medium has improved adhesion between the recording layer and the substrate without decreasing the sensitivity of the recording layer.
