A yellow ink composition, containing as a colorant at least one type of compound expressed by the following Formula I, and at least one type of compound expressed by the following Formula II:(where X1, X2, Y1, and Y2are each a hydrogen atom or a cyano group, Z1and Z2are each a substituent having an aromatic ring, R1and R2are each an alkyl group, and M is a metal atom)(where R is a methoxy group or methyl group, and A is 1,5-disulfonaphtho-3-yl or 1,5,7-trisulfonaphtho-2-yl).
