ABSTRACT:
A water-soluble resin emulsion comprising at least two incompatible water-soluble polymers, wherein said incompatible water-soluble polymers are stably compatibilized with each other by emulsion-polymerizing a monomer having a reactive unsaturated group in the presence of said incompatible water-soluble polymers as the protecting colloid. The emulsion is useful for a topcoating, prime-coating, material for a synthetic leather, photosensitive material for the preparation of a color filter, material for silver salt photography, and photosensitive material for screen printing.
