ABSTRACT:
Curable and cured water based compositions having improved substrate adhesion, methods for their preparation and uses are provided. The coating and adhesive compositions comprise a water soluble compound, a metal salt of an .alpha., .beta.-ethylenically unsaturated compound, and a cure initiator. The compositions of the present invention are useful as substrate coating and adhesive compositions.
