ABSTRACT:
A vehicle interior illumination lamp11for mounting in an opening formed in an interior member of a vehicle includes a function portion12having a bulb22serving as a light source and a switch lever74for effecting and interrupting the supply of electric power to the bulb22, and a design portion13having a cover lens42covering the function portion12and a switch knob47for operating the switch lever74. The switch lever74is pivotally mounted on the function portion12, and the switch knob47is pivotally mounted on the design portion13. When the function portion12and the design portion13are combined together, shaft portions78, serving as an axis of pivotal movement of the switch lever74, coincide with shaft portions84serving as an axis of pivotal movement of the switch knob47.
