A vitreous cutter10includes a plurality of vanes14rotatably attached within a housing12. An inlet16receives pressurized fluid, which causes rotation of the vanes14. An outlet20allows the pressurized fluid to exit the cutter10. A cam24rotates upon rotation of the vanes14, which causes reciprocal movement of a vitrectomy probe28.
