ABSTRACT:
The stilbene compound of the formula ##SPC1##
Exists in three crystal modifications. Two of them are valuable as brighteners for preparing colorless detergents. The stilbene compound is prepared from the corresponding sulphonic acids, their mono- or di-sodium salts.
