ABSTRACT:
A facsimile machine has an enable or disable mode of security receiving selected and a password inputted if its memory is full in order to print additionally inputted data on paper. After this processing, a waiting time of printing output is inputted and the number of retrying input of a password is counted. Memory data received and stored is printed according to counting of retrying input of a password, and inputting a password or no password is designated. After output of memory data which has been received and stored, a receiving mode and a range of automatic switching of the receiving mode are selected. Without installing any additional hardware devices, secure and convenient receiving of data through a facsimile machine can be obtained.
