ABSTRACT:
A system is provided that includes a host system configured with a portable power source and a host power manager. The host power manager is configured to monitor an available power level of the portable power source and at least one power usage by one or more auxiliary devices. The host power manager is further configured to promote less than a full power usage by at least one of the auxiliary devices.
