ABSTRACT:
Either when a first set time elapses after a circuit signal for turning ON a power supply circuit of a certain disk drive group was outputted or after the disk drive group completed its start, a circuit signal for turning ON a power supply circuit corresponding to a next disk drive group is outputted to start disk drives sequentially at a time interval. When the disk drive group is not started, after the lapse of a second set time shorter than the first set time, the circuit signal for turning ON a power supply circuit corresponding to the next disk drive group is outputted to start the next disk drive group.
