ABSTRACT:
A switched capacitor interface circuit translates a voltage output of a sensor which is outside the range of the power supply voltage for a signal processing circuit to a voltage within that range. The circuit uses MOSFETs to control the switching. To prevent the MOSFETs from dielectrically breaking down, the voltages across the gate oxides are continuously and precisely controlled in relation to the output of the sensor.
