ABSTRACT:
A photographic material comprising at least one blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer is disclosed. The silver density of the emulsion layer is not less than 4.0.times.10.sup.-1 g/cm.sup.3 and the dry thickness of the layer is not more than 4.0 .mu.m. A core/shell type silver halide emulsion and a high-speed reaction type scavenger for the oxidation products of a developing agent are preferably used for the emulsion layer. The photographic material has a high sensitivity and provides an image having a superior sharpness and resolution.
