ABSTRACT:
Method of playing roulette with a system including a roulette wheel, a conventional betting layout and a progressive jackpot layout. Players make wages on the conventional layout and/or the progressive layout to participate in a progressive jackpot game wherein the jackpot is accumulated from losing wagers on the progressive jackpot layout. The system includes sensors for detecting chips placed on the progressive layout. The jackpot is won by a wagered winning number being selected by the roulette wheel in a predetermined number of successive spins.
