ABSTRACT:
A proportional solenoid5comprising: an electromagnetic coil9; a fixed yoke10provided immovably inside the electromagnetic coil9and having a convex portion13formed at an edge portion of an end surface of the fixed yoke; and a movable yoke20that is disposed inside the electromagnetic coil9, has a tip portion thereof inserted into the convex portion13of the fixed yoke10, and is provided movably relative to the fixed yoke10, the proportional solenoid5enabling the position adjustment of the movable yoke20by controlling an electric current applied to the electromagnetic coil9, wherein a protruding portion21that protrudes at the side of the fixed yoke10is formed at an edge portion of the surface of the movable yoke20on the side of the fixed yoke10, and an inner surface21bof this protruding portion21is tapered such that the inner surface is located further outside as the inner surface approaches the fixed yoke10.
