ABSTRACT:
On a circuit board11there are provided, other than a comparison circuit12mounting region, dictionary ROM mounting regions18aand18band microprocessor mounting regions19aand19b,with an address bus16and a data bus17each connected to mounting regions18aand18bin parallel and to mounting regions19aand19bin parallel. Initially, a dictionary ROM13aand microprocessor15aare mounted on mounting regions18aand19a,respectively, and when the current version is to be upgraded a dictionary ROM13bhaving dictionary data partially changed to do so is mounted in mounting region18band a microprocessor15bhaving a program partially changed to do so is mounted in mounting region19b.Consequently, there can be provided an image processing device that can ensure a high level of mounting-strength and can also readily allow for exchanging a component thereof and upgrading its version.
