ABSTRACT:
A process for preparing a photosensitive lithographic printing plate precursor wherein a layer containing a water-insoluble lipophilic resin is disposed on a support having a hydrophilic surface, the coating of a silver halide emulsion is directly applied to said layer and dried, said coating of silver halide emulsion is dried with hot air at 60.degree. to 150.degree. C. without permitting the same to set.
