Highly purified Stevioside and Rebaudioside A were prepared from sweet glycoside extracts obtained fromStevia rebaudianaBertoni leaves. The resulting sweeteners are suitable as non-calorie, non-cariogenic, non-bitter, non-lingering sweeteners, which may be advantageously applied in foods, beverages, and milk products.
