Probiotic compositions derived fromLactobacillus caseiATCC number PTA 3945 are disclosed. More specifically, probiotic compositions containing prebiotic compositions including edible oils are provided. The probiotic/prebiotic compositions disclosed herein are packaged using a nitrogen purge instant bonding anaerobic encapsulation process to maintain high viability for extended periods.
