ABSTRACT:
A portable bootjack comprising a frame formed of articulated metal members enables the heel of a boot to be effective grabbed and held by pressure applied on a pedal plate to assist in the removal of the boot. The pedal plate moves a moveable rear gripping plate against the rear of the heel of the boot which urges the heel to be held against a front bar while the foot is removed from the boot.
