ABSTRACT:
A semiconductor device having a driver circuit for outputting two kinds of signals of different logical amplitudes and a control circuit for switching the driver circuit. The driver circuit has MOS transistors which are connected in series, the source of one MOS transistor being connected to a power supply wire VCC/GND and the drain of the other MOS transistor being connected to an output terminal. The control circuit has a MOS transistor switch for turning on/off the connection between the gate and the drain of the other MOS transistor in accordance with a mode signal MODE, and another MOS transistor switch which turns on/off the connection between the gate of the MOS transistors.
