ABSTRACT:
The provision of a one-way clutch having a high strength and a small size and manufactured significantly readily. The one-way clutch includes a casing for supporting a rotating shaft, and a clutch mechanism provided inside the casing. The clutch mechanism allows the shaft inserted in the casing to slide in the casing when the shaft is rotated in one direction and locks the sliding of the shaft when the shaft is rotated in the other direction. The casing22include a laminate of a bottom plate member23aand a plurality of intermediate plate members23b. Each of the plate members has a press-fit recess31extending on one surface, and a press-fit height32which extends on the other surface and is press-fitted into a corresponding press-fit recess31of an adjacent plate member.
