ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is an OLED device comprising an anode and a cathode and located there-between a light emitting layer containing a light emitting dopant and a host comprising a monoanthracene derivative of formula (I):whereinR1–R8are H;R9is not the same as R10;R9is a biphenyl group containing no fused rings with aliphatic carbon ring members;R10is an ortho-substituted- or meta monosubstituted phenyl group;provided that R9and R10are free of amines and sulfur compounds.
