ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for rapidly configuring a medical imaging system with applications that are preferred by specific system users, the method including, at the beginning of an imaging session, receiving user information and using the information to identify user preferred applications, determining which of the preferred applications is already booted, booting un-booted preferred applications and disabling non-preferred booted applications so that only preferred applications are booted during the next imaging session.
