ABSTRACT:
A nondestructive inspection apparatus is designed to inspect components in a small gap of a structure. A main body19of the nondestructive inspection apparatus is positioned on a spray line header13connected to a thermal sleeve16within a cooling water inlet nozzle12, and fixed to a core spray line14by vertically clamping the core spray line14with fixing units21a,21bat the position where the thermal sleeve16to be inspected is located. Scanners24a,24binsert a tape probe27having an inspection head28inside an annular gap17formed between the thermal sleeve16and the cooling water inlet nozzle12in an axial direction. The scanners24a,24bare guided by guide rails22a,22bto move the tape prove27so that the inspection head28can move in the circumferential direction of the annular gap17.
