ABSTRACT:
Multi-layer headbox for a paper machine that includes a plurality of nozzle chambers having outlet gaps located at nozzle chamber ends. Each of the plurality of nozzle chambers are assigned to different layers, and at least one of the plurality of nozzle chambers has a length in a flow direction that is different from a length of at least one other of the plurality of nozzle chambers.
