ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to improved methods for the incorporation of DNA into the genome of aZea maysplant by means ofAgrobacterium-mediated transformation. Preferred is the use of theZea maylines deposited with American Type Culture Collection under the Patent Deposit Designation PTA-6170 and PTA-6171.
