ABSTRACT:
Method and apparatus for acquiring and displaying expansion read only memory size information prior to operating system execution are disclosed. The disclosed method and apparatus detect an expansion read only memory, determine a memory usage characteristic of the detected expansion read only memory, and store the memory usage characteristic in a data structure prior to execution of an operating system by a processor system.
