ABSTRACT:
A fuser member comprising a supporting substrate having an outer layer of a cured fluoroelastomer and having a thin surface layer of a polyorganosiloxane having been grafted to the surface of said cured fluoroelastomer in the presence of a dehydrofluorination agent for the fluoroelastomer and from a polyorganosiloxane having reactive functionality and the formula: ##STR1## where R is an alkyl, alkenyl or aryl group having less than 19 carbon atoms or an aryl group substituted with an alkyl or alkenyl group having less than 19 carbon atoms, the functional group A is hydrogen, hydroxy, alkoxy, amino, epoxy, vinyl, acrylic or mercapto, and n is 2 to 350.
