ABSTRACT:
A method for developing a light-sensitive lithographic printing plate having an image-forming layer containing a substantially water-insoluble diazo resin thereon using a developer composition which comprises (a) benzyl alcohol, .alpha.-methylbenzyl alcohol, ethylene glycol monophenyl ether and/or ethylene glycol monobenzyl ether, (b) an anionic surface active agent and (c) a water-soluble sulfite.
