ABSTRACT:
A memory card uses a write-once type memory IC. A logical address is provided for each block as a predetermined data unit. Each block includes an area in which a data use status flag is recorded which indicates that data has been recorded in a block. Each block also includes an area in which a block status flag is recorded which indicates that data recorded in a block has been deleted.
