ABSTRACT:
A concrete vessel is provided with a loading and unloading system, in which the vessel has an inner hull skin which is generally cylindrically curved. An outer hull skin is provided, which is transversally spaced from, and peripherally encloses the inner hull skin. The outer hull skin is planar on an upper side, so as to form a deck. A barge dock or hanger is located between the deck and the inner hull skin. A gate is provided in the outer hull skin between the deck and the inner hull skin for floating a barge to and from the dock or hanger.
