ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides an improved method for the manufacture of Cyclosporin A is disclosed. Cyclosporin A is produced by solid state fermentation ofFusarium solaniin a bioreactor under optimal fermentation parameters. The product is extracted and further purified by treating with alum and subsequent chromatographic procedures to get pharmaceutical acceptable purity.
