ABSTRACT:
Lighting equipment includes three distinct spaced, parallel mounting structures held together by sheet metal in a preferably box-shaped configuration. Two outer ones of these mounting structures each include a profile having a wall thickness greater than the thickness of the sheet metal and an interior configuration corresponding to an exterior configuration of each of two arms of a lamp to be mounted relative to a pole. The central one of the mentioned elongate mounting structures has a profile including combined first, second and third walls, each of which has a thickness greater than the mentioned sheet metal thickness. The third wall is centrally located and carries a tapered-bore or other structure for connection to the pole on which the lamp is to be mounted. The lamp itself may be box-shaped and partly formed of sheet metal, and include a metal plate thicker than such sheet metal and having spaced first and second projection for attachment to mounting arms partly accommodated in the above mentioned outer mounting structures.
