ABSTRACT:
Isotropic liquid detergent composition comprises specific soil antiredeposition polymers containing a hydrophilic backbone and hydrophobic side chain; and aliphatic hydrocarbon oils. When the molar ratio of hydrophilic groups of the backbone to number of hydrophobic groups attached to the backbone is below certain critical levels; and aliphatic hydrocarbon oil of defined molecular weight (MW) range are incorporated in the formulation; it has been unexpectedly found that the stability (i.e., clarity) of the composition remarkably increases in such oil containing compositions.
