ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides DNA sequences isolated fromPerilla, Torenia, VerbenaandPetunia, encoding a protein having activity that transfers a glycoside to the 5 position of a flavonoid (5GT), a host cell and plants transformed with said DNA sequences and a process for producing a protein using said DNA sequences.
