ABSTRACT:
In that type of extensible, tiltable counter-balanced lamp bracket in which three degrees of freedom are provided about a balance point, the mechanism which furnishes the 3.degree. of freedom also provides a hollow encompassing the balance point, so that connectors may be drawn directly therethrough. A hollow link extends from the balance point to a fulcrum hinge at which it mounts the principal counter-balanced arm. The arm there is directed into two portions offset from the center plane. The offsets of the principal arm provide a slot in which the link means is accommodated when the extensible bracket is folded.
