ABSTRACT:
To provide an information processing apparatus and the like, in which even when a plurality of other information processing apparatuses are connected on a single serial bus system, a required one of the information processing apparatuses can be rapidly and easily selected and the information from the other information processing apparatuses can be input.A receiver R connected to a single serial bus B together with other nodes comprises a host microcomputer12for selectively inputting the input information input from a plurality of input terminals and a main microcomputer13for acquiring the specified information for specifying the other nodes connected through the serial bus B and setting one node as an alternative of the host microcomputer12in place of one of the plurality of the input terminals.
