Imidazolylmethylene-containing triphendioxazine dyes of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, m and n each have defined meanings, A.sup..crclbar. is an anion and F is the radical of a triphendioxazine chromophore of the formula II ##STR2## where X.sup.1, X.sup.2, X.sup.3, X.sup.4, X.sup.5, L and p each have defined meanings, are useful for dyeing and printing material containing cellulose fibers.
