ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is an image forming material comprising a metal support having an anodization layer on its surface, and provided on the anodization layer, a light sensitive layer containing a first compound capable of generating an acid on exposure of an actinic light, a second compound having a group cross-linking by an acid or a third compound having a chemical bond capable of being decomposed by an acid, and an infrared absorber, wherein the thickness of the anodization layer is 10 to 60 mg/dm.sup.2.
