A CPU200displays on the display screen of a display device20the image data of an image received file via a memory card MC or a connecting cable CV. The CPU200displays color-correction parameters entered via an input device240, as well as image data that reflect the color-space parameters, on the display screen of the display device20together with the original image data. When it is detected that a request has been issued for application of the set color-space parameters and color-correction parameters, the CPU200adds the set color-space parameters and color-correction parameters to the image file as image processing control information.
