The present invention relates to a process for the HT dyeing of polyester or polyester-containing textile materials at pH 8 to pH 11, characterized in that one or more monoazo dyes are used of the general formula I ##STR1## wherein X, Y, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each as defined in Claim 1.
