Compounds of formula (I):wherein R1is hydroxyl or sulfonamide derivative; R2is t-butyl or —CH2—C(CH3)3or —CH2-cyclopentyl; R3is t-butyl or cyclohexyl and R4is cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are described as useful as inhibitor of the HCV NS3 protease.
