ABSTRACT:
A head loading device and method in a hard disk drive, the head loading device including a plate having a guide groove of a predetermined length, a body having a predetermined shape and installed to move along the guide groove, and a blade having a predetermined length and extending from an end portion of the body in a guiding direction, for vertically widening the gap between suspensions with heads in an actuator. Thus, the heads are loaded over disks by moving the body while the heads are spaced from each other by the blade.
