Assembly precision in a motor is improved and greater cost reduction is achieved.A fluid dynamic bearing apparatus1comprising a housing7and bearing sleeve8as fixed-side members2, a shaft member9as a rotational-side member3having a portion3cfor mounting a rotor magnet5, and a disk hub10, the shaft member9being supported by the bearing sleeve8in the radial direction in a non-contact manner by the hydrodynamic effect of a lubricating oil produced in a radial bearing gap between the inner circumferential surface8aof the bearing sleeve8and the outer circumferential surface9aof the shaft member while the shaft member9is in rotation, the apparatus1comprising a disk hub10which is fixed on the shaft member9and has a portion3cfor mounting the rotor magnet5, and the disk hub10being a molded resin article formed by insert-molding using the shaft member9as an insert piece.
