An automotive video display console assembly18for installation in a vehicle10is provided. The automotive video display console assembly18includes a console housing20. The automotive video display console assembly18further includes a horizontal support element34including a first end36engaging the console housing20and a second end38. The second end38is movable between a support stowage position42and a horizontally extended position44horizontally distanced from the support stowage position42. A video display element26is pivotably mounted to the second end38such that the video display26can be moved between a display stowage position28and a display active position30when the second end38is in the support stowage position42. The video display26can be further moved to a display extended position32when the second end38is positioned in the horizontally extended position44.
