ABSTRACT:
An electronic device, information processing device, and adapter device enabling smooth internal circuit switching and other operations are provided. In the electronic device200, the serial interface21and parallel interface22are connected via a data bus23to the register24and data buffer25, and this data buffer25is connected to an ECC circuit26. The register24, data buffer25and ECC circuit26are connected to the memory28via a memory interface and sequencer circuit27. The register24is connected to the controller29, and data input and output is controlled. The interfaces21and22are switched by means of control signals from this controller29. That is, switching between these interfaces21and22is performed through discrimination, by the controller29, of a portion of the data written to the register24.
