ABSTRACT:
In an electronic control apparatus having a one-chip microcomputer and a power output circuit, a voltage abnormality detecting circuit is provided to detect whether an output voltage of each power output circuit is set to a voltage in a predetermined range. A current abnormality detecting circuit is also provided to detect that a current flowing into each power output circuit is in an excessive current condition or in a low current condition. The microcomputer is reset when the detected output voltage or the detected current is abnormal.
